Join us on Thursday mornings during the 26-27 school year, from August to May. We will have a few weeks off here and there with a longer break around Christmas.
We will meet at Mission Hill Church, downstairs in the Adult Dept.

Join us in exploring the beginning of Genesis and the foundations of our faith.
But more than that, join us for a Community that is reading the Bible together and learning more about each other. We walk through life together.
We were never meant to do this alone, the Christian life is meant to be lived in Community.
What will we be studying?
Adam to Noah - Genesis 2-5
We will be using BibleProject's Classroom - "Adam to Noah". It is a video series. Each week we will watch the video and then discuss what we learned and talk about any questions we have.
We are all still learning, and talking through these lessons is a great way to deepen our understanding (and of course, build community).
Here are a few questions we could be Reflecting on...
- Wait!?! There are TWO creation stories in the Bible?
- Why is the Genesis 2 creation story out of order from Genesis 1?
- What's up with these rivers? Why do I need to know this?
- How did God make Eve from Adam?
- Where was Adam when Eve was taking the fruit?
- Why did God make labor pains so bad for women? (or did He?)
- What was wrong with Cain's offering?
and our favorite... so many Genealogies, why...?
All of these questions and more!
While we might not 'answer' all these questions, we will definitely 'reflect' on them. Part of this study is just learning how to ponder (or meditate) on scripture and the meaning that the ancient author is trying to communicate with us.

YES! There is a book that goes with this study.

But you don't have to miss out on the video (you will miss us though), BibleProject offers all of their videos free online. You can catch up on any lessons you miss (or rewatch, or prewatch...).
There is no cost for the class itself.
But we do ask, if you want us to print a book for you, you give a donation to cover the cost of the printing. If this is a hardship for you, please just come, you are covered.
